Summary: The role of Digital Designer involves leading cross-functional teams to align complex initiatives with the Target State Architecture, focusing on digital design and enterprise architecture. The candidate will collaborate with senior leaders to develop scalable technical solutions and provide mentorship to junior team members. This is a maternity cover position lasting 9 months, starting as soon as possible.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead architectural teams to align cross-functional and cross-LOB projects with Target State Architecture.
- Develop and manage LOB-wide Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) for both projects and long-term architectural strategies.
- Collaborate with senior business leaders to create Conceptual Architectures that translate business needs into scalable technical solutions.
- Design and evolve Target State Architectures that support enterprise-wide strategies and transformation initiatives.
- Provide coaching and mentorship to less experienced architects and technical team members.
- Ensure architectural consistency and best practices across all systems within the LOB.
- Engage with stakeholders across Financial Services (FS) to deliver top-level banking architecture solutions.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in enterprise architecture leadership within large-scale, complex environments.
- Deep expertise in application, data, and infrastructure architecture disciplines.
- Strong experience in digital design, with hands-on knowledge of Figma.
- Demonstrated success working with major global brands such as Apple, Google, or leading retail organisations.
- Experience in Financial Services (FS) and delivering solutions within top-tier banking environments.
- Highly self-motivated, with the ability to lead initiatives independently and drive strategic outcomes.
- Strong understanding of architectural frameworks and methodologies (e.g., TOGAF, Zachman).
- Excellent communication, leadership, and strategic thinking skills.
