Key Responsibilities:

JOB TITLE: DIGITAL COMMUNICATIONS AND MARKETING EXECUTIVE (12 – MONTHS FIXED TERM) An exciting opportunity to support the visibility and position of the Petrofac brand by supporting enhancements within Petrofac’s digital communications and marketing delivery, acting as a key contributor to a best-in-class corporate digital presence.
Requirements As a key member of Petrofac’s global Communications team, you will collaborate closely with colleagues and external agencies on a broad range of digital communications requirements, including:
- Content creation & publishing Create, curate, and publish content for corporate channels, including the website, LinkedIn, X, Instagram, employee ambassadors and paid media Ensure all content reflects Petrofac's editorial voice, brand guidelines, and corporate reputation priorities
- Campaign delivery Support digital campaign planning and execution, generating assets, coordinating delivery, and tracking impact Bring editorial flair and storytelling to shape compelling content that showcases our people, projects, and purpose
- Web management Manage day-to-day web publishing and updates across Petrofac.com and associated sites Collaborate with stakeholders to ensure content remains accurate, timely and relevant
- Editorial calendar Help manage the integrated editorial calendar, aligning content with corporate announcements, campaigns, and business priorities to ensure seamless integration Coordinate inputs from across the business to keep delivery on track

The postholder will have an indirect impact on the communications budget and will manage small budgets at the individual campaign level. Essential Qualifications And Skills Degree or equivalent in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or related discipline Few years of experience in a digital communications or marketing role (corporate, agency, or B2B environment) Demonstrable experience managing social media and web platforms, with an eye for both detail and storytelling Experience creating social media content in multiple formats, such as short-form video, photography, graphics, and live event coverage Robust understanding of SEO, analytics tools (GA4, social dashboards), and accessibility best practice Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to adapt tone and style for web, social and campaign content Experience creating and publishing social media content across formats, including video, photography, graphics and live event coverage A track record of managing and maintaining digital channels (e.g. LinkedIn, Instagram, X, YouTube, websites) with accuracy and consistency Ability to deliver against an integrated editorial calendar, aligning content with business priorities and campaign objectives Skilled in gathering, interpreting and presenting data from GA4, social dashboards and other analytics tools to demonstrate impact and recommend improvements Understanding of SEO, UX and accessibility best practices, and how these strengthen user journeys and brand reputation Ability to collaborate effectively with stakeholders, designers, and agency partners, balancing multiple projects and deadlines Competence with content management systems, digital asset management and related publishing tools Developing confidence in translating technical or complex topics into clear, engaging digital content
