Summary: The Digital Business Partner role is a 12-month fixed-term position focused on enhancing digital delivery within NHS National Services Scotland. The position requires effective communication and collaboration with customers and leaders to align digital strategies with business needs. The candidate will act as a liaison between customers and the organization, helping to define digital roadmaps and address challenges. Key Responsibilities:

About The Organisation
In June 2025, the Cabinet Secretary for Health and Social Care introduced two key frameworks: the Population Health Framework and the Service Renewal Framework (SRF). The SRF sets out an ambitious vision to drive innovation and enable more integrated delivery across Scotland’s health and care services. As part of this transformation, NHS National Services Scotland (NSS) and NHS Education for Scotland (NES) will come together to form a new organisation: Public Services Delivery Scotland in April 2026. The new organisation will play a pivotal role in supporting the renewal and long-term sustainability of health and care services across Scotland. The Post
Digital and Security are looking for open, patient and effective communicators with good listening skills. To working closely with customers and leaders across Scotland, ensuring that digital delivery aligns with strategies and business needs. Helping customers define their future state digital roadmaps and identifying problems within the organisation that require Digital and Security (DaS) assistance are fundamental aspects of the Business Partner role. Acting as the ‘Face of DaS’ across National Services, to ensure a single point of entry for digital demands, an escalation point for customer concerns, and key collaborator within the DaS Directorate to ensure appropriate delivery of work and services.
The Candidate
As a Digital Business Partner, you will be the conduit between customers and the organisation. You must be resilient and have a background in Digital and Customer Relationship Management. You must have strong influencing skills and be able to assist customers in defining digital needs to enable and transform services You will be working in a challenging environment; therefore prioritisation, resiliency and business acumen are key attributes that will allow you engage in negotiation and strategy formulation in a complex ever-changing environment.
Location and Working Pattern:
Gyle Square, Edinburgh or Delta House, Glasgow. Currently hybrid working. Monday to Friday, 37 hours per week. It is a condition of this employment that you must live and remain a resident within the UK for the post in which you will be employed with PSDS.
