Summary: The Digital Business Analyst role at STRABAG involves managing business requirements for technology procurement in tunnelling construction. The position requires collaboration with IT Project Managers and stakeholders to ensure solutions meet specified requirements while also supporting technology project evaluations and user training. The role includes travel across the UK for workshops and requires a proactive approach to workload management.
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for Business Requirements Management including generation of functional and non-functional requirements and process mapping.
- Support the implementation as a requirement keeper, working alongside the IT Project Manager/Solution Architect.
- Assist in evaluating Technology Project proposals and identifying high-level requirements.
- Gather product feedback and provide insights to suppliers and product teams.
- Develop and support execution of testing plans including UAT and OAT.
- Develop user training plans and support their execution.
- Support the development of dashboards and reports alongside Data Analysts.
- Contribute to pre-bid/post-bid responses to support cross-functional teams.
- Travel to offices throughout the UK to facilitate workshops.
- Perform ad hoc activities as deemed appropriate by the IT Director.
Key Skills:
- Business Analysis experience across multiple client/projects.

- Strong communication skills.
- Self-starter with the ability to plan and prioritize workloads.
- Awareness of ISO27001 and Data Protection Act.
- IIBA certification(s).

Your contribution to our company:
- Responsible for Business Requirements Management including generation of functional and non-functional requirements and process mapping so to enable the procurement of new Technology and assist the selection.
- Support the implementation acting as a requirement keeper, working alongside the IT Project Manager/Solution Architect in controlling the solution implemented and ensuring that it fulfils the requirements flagging any deviation with the project manager.
- Support the BMO as part of the Digital & Data team with the evaluation of Technology Project proposals (TPPs) identifying high level requirements with the business and if required via gap analysis.
- Gather product feedback - Provide feedback to suppliers and product teams, helping to improve Strabag services.
- Working with business stakeholders, Project managers and suppliers to develop and support execution of testing plan (including UAT and OAT)
- Develop the User training plans alongside the business stakeholders, project managers and the supplier and support the execution of the plan
- Supports the development of all required dashboards and reports alongside the Data Analysts
- Contribute to Pre-bid/post-bid responses - supporting cross-functional teams to prepare robust responses that help to win deals
- Travel to offices throughout the UK (overnight stays may be required) to facilitate workshops
- Ad hoc activities as deemed appropriate by the IT Director
