Summary: The Digital Business Analyst role involves analyzing business problems and opportunities, conducting research, and identifying areas for improvement within a business context. The position requires leading small-to-medium-sized projects, managing stakeholder relationships, and applying digital understanding to optimize services and processes. The analyst will work on-site three days a week in Corsham and is expected to contribute to the advancement of best practices within the business analysis community.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze and understand business problems or opportunities.
- Conduct research and analysis of business operations, including people, processes, and technology.
- Identify areas for improvement and define success measures.
- Document user and business needs for effective service design and testing.
- Analyze current and future business models to measure success.
- Manage stakeholder relationships and work independently on projects.
- Lead small-to-medium-sized projects and support larger initiatives.
- Report on system quality and collect metrics on test cases.
- Identify issues and risks, and analyze test activities and results.
- Develop technical documentation and service roadmaps.
Key Skills:
- Experience with Requirements Authoring, URD, SRD, Solution Specs, and Test Strategies.
- Demonstrable experience in an ITIL3 aligned service area.
- Ability to work under pressure and manage conflicting priorities.
- Experience in developing complex service roadmaps and technical refresh documentation.
- Understanding of legacy and new systems, particularly in secure environments.
- Strong analytical and modeling skills.
- Experience with Voice & Video Services and Strategic Networks is desirable.
