Summary: The role of DevSecOps Engineer involves supporting and scaling a shared AI platform within a secure enterprise environment for a data and AI consultancy. The position requires maintaining Linux-based infrastructure and containerized services while managing CI/CD pipelines and deploying infrastructure using Terraform. The role is primarily remote with occasional travel to North England. The contract duration is three months with a daily rate of £550 inside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting and scaling a shared AI platform running multiple LLM-based projects
- Owning and maintaining Linux-based infrastructure and containerised services
- Operating and troubleshooting Dockerised services (PostgreSQL, Qdrant, vLLM, LLDAP)
- Managing NGINX reverse proxies to securely expose internal tools and front ends
- Supporting and evolving GitLab CI/CD pipelines
- Deploying and managing infrastructure using Terraform
- Supporting open-source LLM deployments (Hugging Face models, vLLM, LangChain)
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in DevOps / Platform / Infrastructure Engineering
- Strong Linux experience (VMs, shell scripting)
- Hands-on Docker experience in production environments
- CI/CD experience, ideally GitLab
- Experience with NGINX or similar reverse proxies
- Infrastructure-as-Code experience (Terraform preferred)
- Python experience supporting backend or platform services
- Experience supporting production systems used by multiple teams
- Must be ITAR compliant; ideally SC clearance

We’re partnered with a fast-growing data and AI consultancy supporting a high-profile AI Lab environment within a secure, enterprise setting. They’re looking for a DevSecOps Engineer to help scale and support a shared AI/LLM platform used across multiple projects, enabling teams to deploy, run, and operate production-grade LLM applications efficiently. You’ll be joining a central platform team owning the core infrastructure behind a rapidly expanding AI capability.
What you’ll be doing:
- Supporting and scaling a shared AI platform running multiple LLM-based projects
- Owning and maintaining Linux-based infrastructure and containerised services
- Operating and troubleshooting Dockerised services (PostgreSQL, Qdrant, vLLM, LLDAP)
