Summary: The role of DevOps - Full Stack Engineer involves working on a long-term programme for a blue-chip client, focusing on CI/CD, cloud platforms, and container orchestration. The position is hybrid, requiring 60% office presence and 40% remote work, and is initially a 7-month contract with potential for extension. Candidates must possess strong technical skills and experience in software engineering, particularly with tools like Jenkins and cloud services. Security clearance is preferred due to the nature of the work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solid experience in CI/CD
- Advanced knowledge of CloudBees Jenkins (installation, configuration, administration)
- Experience with Google Cloud Platform, including Cloud Storage, Big Query, and Cloud Logging
- Container orchestration with Kubernetes (GKE, AKS, EKS) and container management tooling
- Development of Object-Oriented code (Python, Groovy, shell scripting)
- Declarative Jenkins pipeline development and branching strategies
- Familiarity with monitoring tools like Prometheus and Grafana
- Strong understanding of DevOps release principles
- Problem management and incident support experience
- Leading a pod and assisting with product backlog grooming
- Desire to contribute to team members' career development
- Cost optimization design for solutions
- Core technical integrations with security and change management tooling (SNOW, SAST/DAST)
- Strong communication skills with stakeholders
