Summary: An SC Cleared DevOps Engineer is sought to join an agile platform engineering team within the Defence sector. The role involves sharing DevOps expertise, maintaining stakeholder relationships, and supporting project delivery. The engineer will collaborate with team members to develop common services and ensure successful project outcomes. Required technical skills include experience with CI/CD pipelines, security scanning tools, and infrastructure management.

Key Responsibilities:

• Share expertise and best DevOps practices with the team.
• Maintain relationships with stakeholders throughout the project.
• Support project delivery to ensure commercially successful outcomes.
• Collaborate with other DevOps Engineers to develop common services.
• Configure and maintain Infrastructure-as-code using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Integrate security scanning tools into the development process.
• Work on automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Utilize Python and PySpark for ETL pipelines and data engineering tasks.

Key Skills:

• Experience in a DevOps environment.
• Proficiency with CI/CD tools like Tekton and GitHub Actions.
• Experience with security scanning tools such as SonarQube and OWASP ZAP.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and infrastructure management.
• Familiarity with containerized services (Postgres, Redis, Kafka, etc.).
• Proficiency in Python and PySpark.
• Experience with dependency management using Poetry and Dependabot.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• Active SC Clearance.
