Summary: The Salesforce DevOps Engineer role is a 3-month contract position focused on delivering expertise in Salesforce and DevOps within a financial services context. The position is primarily remote, requiring occasional travel to the London office for meetings. Candidates must possess relevant experience and certifications in Salesforce and DevOps practices. This opportunity allows for flexibility while contributing to a dynamic project.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Automate CI/CD pipelines for Salesforce metadata and SFDX projects.
  • Manage multiple Salesforce environments and streamline deployments.
  • Utilize version control systems, including Git, and implement branching strategies and pull requests.
  • Work with Salesforce APIs, CLI tools, and deployment methods such as Change Sets and Unlocked Packages.
  • Employ Salesforce DevOps tools like Copado, Gearset, AutoRABIT, Jenkins, Azure DevOps, and GitHub Actions.
  • Develop scripts in Shell, Python, or JavaScript for automation purposes.
  • Collaborate effectively across teams and communicate clearly.
  • Apply Agile methodologies and DevSecOps practices in the workflow.

Key Skills:

  • Expertise in Salesforce and DevOps practices.
  • Proficiency with version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Experience in automating CI/CD pipelines.
  • In-depth knowledge of Salesforce APIs and deployment methods.
  • Hands-on experience with Salesforce DevOps tools.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages like Shell, Python, or JavaScript.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodologies and DevSecOps practices.
  • Relevant Salesforce certifications (e.g., Certified DevOps Engineer, Platform Developer I/II).
