- Alleviating pressure on current Network Engineers by picking up complex work packages immediately.
- Documenting work and conducting hand-overs/training with the permanent team for long-term maintainability.
Key Skills:
- Strong commercial experience with Python, Terraform, and Ansible.
- Understanding of network fundamentals (Switching, Routing, IPAM, etc.).
- Experience with NetBox.
- Ability to work autonomously as a self-starter.

We are partnering with a world-leading technology company in Cambridge to find a specialist DevOps Engineer.
The core Network Engineering team is currently operating at maximum capacity.
They need a safe pair of hands to step in, manage critical deployments, and automate workflows to free up bandwidth for the wider team.
What you'll be doing:
Automation & Deployment: Utilizing Python, Terraform, and Ansible to automate network configurations and infrastructure deployment.
Immediate Impact: alleviating pressure on the current Network Engineers by picking up complex work packages immediately.
Knowledge Transfer: Documenting your work and conducting hand-overs/training with the permanent team to ensure long-term maintainability.
Your skills and experience:
Strong commercial experience with Python, Terraform, and Ansible.
Network Fundamentals: You must have underpinning network knowledge. You don't need to be a CCIE, but you need to understand what you are automating (Switching, Routing, IPAM, etc.).
Experience with NetBox.
Autonomy: You must be a self-starter.
