DevOps Engineer

The Opportunity

I’m currently recruiting for a Security Cleared DevOps Engineer to join a major public services transformation programme on a 12-month contract.

You’ll be responsible for designing, building and maintaining an end-to-end Salesforce CI/CD ecosystem, developing automated pipelines to support reliable, scalable releases from development through to production.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build and maintain automated Salesforce CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement scratch-org-based validation workflows and automated testing.
• Develop semantic-release-driven packaging and deployment processes.
• Automate environment configuration and management.
• Integrate regression testing using Provar.
• Develop custom Salesforce CLI plugins, including UI automation using Puppeteer.
• Manage Salesforce configurations that cannot be accessed through standard APIs.
• Improve deployment reliability, scalability and release efficiency across environments.

Essential Skills & Experience

• Strong experience with Salesforce application implementation and configuration.
• Hands-on experience with GitLab CI/CD.
• Experience working with AWS and Terraform.
• Proven experience building and maintaining automated deployment pipelines.
• Experience with Salesforce release management, environment management and automated testing.
• Active Security Clearance is essential.
