We are seeking an experienced AWS Devops Engineer with a strong DevOps background to join an exciting short-term contract project. The primary focus will be on cleaning up AWS resources, ensuring best practices are followed, and sharing knowledge with the wider team. This is a hands-on role, ideal for someone with solid experience in AWS, cloud architecture, and DevOps practices, particularly in legacy project environments.
Clean Up AWS Resources: Audit and optimise existing AWS resources to improve cost efficiency, performance, and security.
Best Practices: Ensure AWS best practices are followed in terms of architecture, security, and operations.
Knowledge Sharing: Provide guidance and support to the team, helping them adhere to AWS best practices and improve their cloud capabilities.
Technology Focus: Work with Database APIs and development-related technologies to ensure smooth integration and efficient system performance.
What you'll need to succeed
Proven experience as an AWS Architect or DevOps Engineer with a strong background in AWS cloud technologies.
Expertise in AWS architecture, including resource optimisation and cleanup.
Familiarity with best practices in AWS for security, scalability, and cost management.
Solid experience in database APIs and development-related technologies.
Strong communication skills for knowledge sharing and collaborating with distributed teams.
Comfortable working on legacy projects with a focus on migration and optimisation.
