DevOps Engineer

As a DevOps Engineer, you will manage and scale the core infrastructure powering Neo4j graph database, CI/CD automation pipelines, and chatbot services. You will oversee platform resilience, security, capacity planning, and deployment pipelines to ensure high availability and seamless releases across all environments.

Key Responsibilities Infrastructure & Operations

  • Graph Infrastructure: Provision, manage, and scale Neo4j infrastructure across cloud or on-premises environments, ensuring robust backup and disaster recovery mechanisms.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Automate infrastructure provisioning using modern IaC tools (eg, Terraform, ARM/Bicep).
  • Containerization: Support containerization and orchestration of application services (eg, Docker, Kubernetes, chatbot backends, APIs).
  • Capacity & Cost Optimization: Lead capacity planning and continuous cost optimization for graph databases and compute resources.

CI/CD & Environment Management

  • Pipeline Automation: Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines to manage changes to graph schemas, ETL code, operational dashboards, and chatbot deployments.
  • Environment Strategy: Manage the full environment life cycle (dev/test/UAT/prod) and promote changes via controlled, repeatable release processes.

Reliability, Security & Support

  • Observability: Implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting across the graph database, ETL pipelines, and chatbot services.
  • Platform Security: Enforce strict security policies, access controls, and secret management across the platform environment.
  • Incident Response: Coordinate incident response and troubleshooting efforts for platform outages or performance degradation.
  • Documentation: Maintain clear technical documentation covering deployments, system configurations, and operational runbooks.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Strong expertise administering Neo4j or similar enterprise graph database environments.
  • Proficiency with IaC tools (Terraform, ARM/Bicep) and CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, or GitLab CI).
  • Solid background in container orchestration and Back End API infrastructure.
  • Strong operational background in monitoring, logging frameworks, and cloud security practices.
