Key Responsibilities:

We're working with a leading specialist IT consultancy delivering mission-critical infrastructure for high-security environments on this exciting opportunity. Are you an SC Cleared Platform Engineer who views infrastructure through the lens of a Software Engineer? We are looking for an Azure expert to join a high-impact project, focusing on advanced Infrastructure as Code (IaC), automated testing, and secure-by-design architecture. You will be at the forefront of building resilient, high-availability cloud environments using a modern stack including Terraform, Bicep, and GitHub Actions.
The Role
- Design and implement high-availability Azure architectures featuring regional failover and load balancing strategies directly within IaC templates.
- Build and maintain scalable, reusable Terraform and Bicep modules, driving consistency and modularity across the infrastructure estate.
- Champion Test-Driven Development (TDD) principles by integrating automated security and compliance checks into pipelines using tools like Checkov and Terratest.
- Develop complex CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions to automate orchestration and deployment strategies.
- Engineer hardened Azure environments leveraging Managed Identities, Private Endpoints, and sophisticated RBAC configurations.
What You'll Need
- Active SC Clearance is highly preferred (lapsed clearance will be considered) for this secure-site project.
- Expert-level proficiency in Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform and/or Bicep with a focus on modular design and maintainability.
