Summary: The role of DevOps Engineer involves driving a significant cloud migration and infrastructure modernization project for a high-profile financial services client. The engineer will collaborate with both the end client and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery. This is a hybrid position based in Central London.
Key Responsibilities:
- Driving the Azure cloud migration and transforming legacy infrastructure.
- Building and maintaining Terraform / Bicep Infrastructure as Code (IaC) across development, staging, and production environments.
- Implementing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions.
- Working with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) and containerized workloads.
- Collaborating directly with the end client and internal delivery teams.
Key Skills:
- Solid DevOps/Cloud engineering background in a Managed Service Provider (MSP) or fast-paced environment.
- Strong hands-on experience with Azure (AWS experience considered).
- Proficiency in Terraform or Bicep for Infrastructure as Code (IaC) — non-negotiable.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines: Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, or similar.
- Kubernetes / AKS exposure.
- A self-starter who can hit the ground running.

We're hiring a DevOps Engineer on behalf of a leading MSP client based in Central London, currently delivering a major cloud migration and infrastructure modernisation programme for a high-profile financial services client.
The Project
A large-scale migration of a ~200 VM legacy on-prem estate to Azure, with full CI/CD pipeline implementation and Terraform-based IaC rollout across multiple environments. The project is well underway with strong momentum and real engineering challenges to get stuck into.
What You'll Be Doing
- Driving the Azure cloud migration, lifting and transforming legacy infrastructure
- Building and maintaining Terraform / Bicep IaC across dev, staging and production
- Implementing and optimising CI/CD pipelines via Azure DevOps and GitHub Actions
- Working with AKS and containerised workloads
- Collaborating directly with the end client and internal delivery teams
What We're Looking For
- Solid DevOps/Cloud engineering background in an MSP or fast-paced environment
- Strong Azure hands-on experience (AWS considered)
- Terraform or Bicep for IaC — non-negotiable
