Summary: The role of DevOps Engineer involves supporting the deployment of an Enterprise Detection and Response (EDR) solution within a regulated Financial Services environment. The engineer will work with Kubernetes clusters and containerized workloads, focusing on CI/CD pipelines and Infrastructure as Code. This contract role is hybrid and spans a duration of 6 months.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support deployment of EDR tooling across cloud servers, Kubernetes clusters, and containerised environments
  • Build and maintain CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions or similar tooling
  • Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform
  • Troubleshoot and optimise cloud infrastructure using monitoring and observability tooling
  • Work closely with security teams to ensure secure-by-design deployment practices

Key Skills:

  • Experience working with Azure cloud environments
  • Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions or equivalent)
  • Hands-on experience with Terraform or other IaC tools
  • Strong networking fundamentals (DNS, VPN, Load Balancing, Firewalls)
  • Experience with Kubernetes and containerised workloads
  • Exposure to observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk, or similar
  • Experience in DevOps or SRE environments

We are hiring a DevOps Engineer to support the deployment of an Enterprise Detection and Response (EDR) solution across a large-scale cloud estate. The environment includes both Kubernetes clusters and containerised workloads across enterprise production systems. This role sits within a regulated Financial Services environment and requires SC Clearance. You will work closely with platform, security, and infrastructure teams to ensure secure, reliable, and scalable deployment across cloud and hybrid environments.

Key Responsibilities
