Summary: The role of DevOps Engineer involves working on secure, high-assurance security projects within a multi-disciplinary team, focusing on the build, configuration, and deployment of secure infrastructure in a cloud environment. Candidates must possess UK*C or Enhanced DV Clearance and have strong hands-on experience with AWS and Kubernetes. This is a full-time, on-site contract position inside IR35, offering a competitive day rate. The position is aimed at mid-senior level engineers who can adapt quickly to a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the build, configuration, and deployment of secure infrastructure across public cloud (AWS).
- Contribute to containerised workloads and automate infrastructure with Terraform.
- Work within secure Kubernetes environments.
- Utilize modern tooling and DevSecOps practices.
Key Skills:
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services.
- Proven knowledge of Kubernetes and containerised application delivery.
- Infrastructure as Code with Terraform.
- CI/CD pipelines using GitLab or Drone.
- Monitoring and logging experience with Grafana, Prometheus, or CloudWatch.
- Experience in secure environments, including knowledge of IAM, Vault, and networking.
- Active UK*C or Enhanced DV Clearance is a must (sole British nationals only).

ABOUT THE CLIENT: We’re partnered with a market-leading secure technology business delivering enterprise-grade, cloud platforms to high-security government and defence clients. With several new projects ramping up, they’re now looking to bring in Contract DevOps Engineers (Mid-Senior Level) who can hit the ground running in a fast-paced, secure, agile delivery environment.
