Summary: The role of DevOps Engineer at K&K Social Resources & Development GmbH involves building, deploying, and maintaining infrastructure as code for large-scale multi-site deployments. Key Responsibilities:
- Build, deploy and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform.
- Develop CI/CD pipelines for cloud-native platforms (Azure, Kubernetes).
- Automate workflows and troubleshoot issues in high-traffic production systems.
- Implement and enforce best DevOps and security practices.
- Identify bottlenecks and improve infrastructure performance.
- Choose, deploy, and manage tools for robust infrastructure support.
- Develop, test, and apply software configuration management.
- Interact with users to coordinate infrastructure changes.
- Participate in testing application or infrastructure changes.
- Mentor junior engineers and promote SDLC processes.
- Secure products, tools, and processes related to the role.
Key Skills:
- BS in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent technical degree.
- 5-7+ years of experience in a DevOps role.
- Knowledge and hands-on experience with Linux (admin, networking, scripting).
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform HCL or Azure ARM).
- Hands-on experience with Cloud infrastructure (Azure).
- Experience with Cloud Native Technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, Helm).
- Understanding of Java, JVM, and application server concepts.
- Basic knowledge of networking (TCP/IP, UDP, VPN, DNS, TLS).
- Basic knowledge of computer security.
- Demonstrated troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
