Summary: We are looking for a DevOps Engineer with a strong infrastructure background to design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines in cloud environments. The role emphasizes automation and collaboration with development and operations teams to enhance software delivery. The engineer will also support customer contact services and drive innovation through automation-first principles.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to identify and address bottlenecks in the software delivery life cycle.
- Design and implement robust CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks for seamless integration and deployment across cloud and on-prem environments.
- Lead the creation and adoption of infrastructure pipelines across internal and external platforms.
- Maintain and evolve pipelines to reflect platform changes, security requirements, and application updates.
- Champion standardization and reusability within the DevOps ecosystem.
- Collaborate across bank-wide DevOps functions to share assets, tools, and best practices.
- Support the wider technology and contact centre teams, ensuring reliable, observable, and secure service delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement and stay current with emerging tools, trends, and engineering practices.
Key Skills:
- Strong understanding of end-to-end infrastructure including networking, Firewalls, load balancers, and application Servers.
- Hands-on experience with observability tools such as AppDynamics, ELK stack, AWS CloudWatch, AWS X-Ray, etc.
- Exposure to cloud contact centre technologies and platforms (eg, Amazon Connect, Genesys, Twilio).
- Familiarity with Agile delivery practices, test-driven development (TDD), and automated testing.
- Proficiency in CI/CD tooling and concepts, with a strong automation mindset.
- Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate across cross-functional teams.
- Eagerness to learn and continuously improve technical skills and knowledge.
