Summary: The DevOps Engineer role involves designing, implementing, and managing Azure-based infrastructure and applications, with a strong focus on Azure Kubernetes Service and CI/CD pipelines. The position requires collaboration with development teams to integrate DevOps practices and ensure efficient application deployment. Additionally, the engineer will be responsible for troubleshooting technical issues and maintaining security and compliance across Azure resources. A minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps engineering, particularly with Azure technologies, is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage Azure-based infrastructure and applications using Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, and other Azure services.
- Develop and maintain Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines using Azure DevOps, Ansible, and other tools.
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate DevOps practices and tools, ensuring seamless application deployment and management.
- Manage and optimize Kubernetes clusters, including deployment, scaling, and monitoring.
- Develop and maintain Azure App Service, Azure Functions, and other Azure-based applications.
- Implement infrastructure as code (IaC) using ARM templates, Terraform, or other tools.
- Ensure security, compliance, and governance across Azure resources and applications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, providing technical guidance and support to junior team members.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices, and new technologies, recommending improvements and innovations to our DevOps practices.
Key Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, with a focus on Azure technologies.
- Strong experience with Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS), Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates, and Azure DevOps.
- Proficiency in CI/CD pipelines, Ansible, and Kubernetes.
- Experience with Azure App Service, Azure Functions, and other Azure-based applications.
- Strong understanding of infrastructure as code (IaC) principles and tools, such as ARM templates or Terraform.
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug complex technical issues.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
