Summary: The role of DevOps Engineer involves working on AWS technologies to develop and maintain cloud solutions, with a focus on security best practices. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain AWS-based cloud solutions with a focus on security best practices.
- Provision infrastructure using Terraform and manage VMs with tools like Vagrant.
- Automate processes using configuration management tools in a 24x7 AWS environment.
- Utilize strong scripting skills for automation tasks.
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins and Groovy script.
- Work with Docker containers and Amazon Linux 2023 AMI.
- Monitor systems using tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, and others.
- Manage incidents and changes using Git, Jira, Confluence, and ServiceNow.
Key Skills:
- Experience with AWS technologies (EC2, RDS, ELB, EBS, EFS, S3, VPC, Glacier, IAM, CloudWatch, KMS).
- Strong scripting skills (Shell, Python, PowerShell, Perl, JAVA).
- Knowledge of Jenkins and pipeline management using Groovy script.
- Experience with Docker containers and system monitoring tools.
- Active SC Clearance and NPPV3.
- Hands-on experience in DevOps delivery for digital or technology projects in government organizations.
- Linux system administration and MS Active Directory management.
- Understanding of network protocols and services.
