Summary: The role of DevOps Engineer involves working within a team to ensure platform stability and availability, focusing on CI/CD pipelines and cloud infrastructure. Overview: Seeking an experienced senior engineer to own and optimize CI/CD, cloud infrastructure, and application performance. Focus on Python, Kubernetes workloads, and GCP platform reliability.
Core Responsibilities:
Diagnose and resolve performance issues across kubernetes clusters (networking, autoscaling, resource tuning).
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, Tekton).
Optimize build, test, and deployment workflows (artifact strategy, caching, security gates).
Implement observability (logging, metrics, tracing) and performance dashboards.
Manage infrastructure-as-code (Terraform or equivalent) and environment provisioning in GCP.

Deliverables
(First 30 Days): -
Assess existing GCP and Kubernetes infrastructure and produce an optimization report focused on Jenkins OS and controller
performance.
Implement approved optimizations to stabilize Jenkins controllers and reduce risk of downtime.
