Summary: As a DevOps Engineer on a fixed-term contract at Jet2.com and Jet2holidays, you will play a crucial role in a large-scale cloud migration project aimed at enhancing IT infrastructure and operational efficiency. Your contributions will directly support the development teams in delivering new features and improving deployment processes. This position offers primarily remote work with occasional office attendance in Leeds. You will also benefit from annual pay reviews and colleague discounts on flights.
Key Responsibilities:
- Delivery of new features supporting improved deployments for all development teams.
- Documentation and handover to release and/or development teams for ongoing support of features.
- Collaboration with development teams to agree on changes.
- Contribute to key scrum ceremonies, e.g., daily stand-up, backlog refinement, retrospectives.
Key Skills:
- Automated deployment preferably using Azure DevOps or Octopus.
- Scrum/agile methodology.
- Team mentor/leadership.
- Development background or strong understanding of development processes.
- Technical knowledge: Azure DevOps and YAML, Helm, Build and Deploy process in Azure DevOps, Kubernetes (high level), Cloud platforms (high level).
