Summary: The role of a DevOps Engineer focuses on the development and enhancement of a log management solution based on the ELK stack. The position requires expertise in various technologies and methodologies to improve scalability and automation. The contract duration is from June 1, 2025, to November 30, 2025, with a strong emphasis on support and optimization. Proficiency in German at a C1 level is also required for effective communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Development of LMS and consulting for the improvement of the ELK stack-based log management solution.
- Expertise in Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Opensearch, Kafka, Filebeat, Syslog, Ansible, S3 Storage Tiering, and Redhat.
- Continuous improvement of scalability and automation of logging requirements using Ansible.
- Integration and development of S3 Storage for data storage.
- Analysis and optimization of the log management system according to best practices.
- Onboarding of additional sources and new releases, along with maintenance and patching of the environment.
- Defining and implementing new requirements and optimization measures.
- Providing support within an 8x5 support model.
Key Skills:
- Proficiency in ELK stack technologies (Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Opensearch).
- Experience with Kafka, Filebeat, Syslog, Ansible, and S3 Storage Tiering.
- Strong knowledge of Linux RedHat 8 and OpenSearch/OpenSearch Dashboards.
- Ability to analyze and optimize log management systems.
- Fluency in German (C1 level).
- Experience in a DevOps environment.
