Summary: The role of DevOps Engineer involves working on a contract basis for a large insurance company, focusing on building and maintaining cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines. Key Responsibilities:
- Design, build, and maintain cloud infrastructure (AWS/Azure/GCP)
- Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines
- Implement Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, CloudFormation, etc.)
- Monitor system performance, availability, and security
- Support deployments and troubleshoot production issues
- Collaborate with developers to improve release processes and system resilience
Key Skills:
- Proven experience in a DevOps or Platform Engineering role
- Strong cloud experience (AWS preferred, but open)
- CI/CD tooling (e.g. GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins)
- Infrastructure as Code (Terraform strongly preferred)
- Containerisation and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)
- Solid Linux and scripting skills (Bash, Python, etc.)
- Comfortable working autonomously in a contract environment

We’re looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our client's team on a contract basis. Our client is a large insurance company based on Liverpool Street. This is a highly remote role, with just one day per month required on-site in London

You’ll play a key role in building, maintaining, and improving our cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, working closely with engineering teams to ensure reliability, scalability, and security across our platforms.
