Summary: An Edinburgh-based Financial Services/FinTech organization is seeking a hands-on DevOps Engineer for a 6-month contract. The role focuses on managing and optimizing AWS cloud infrastructure as part of a large and complex program. Candidates should possess relevant experience in DevOps, particularly within the FinTech sector, and have strong skills in cloud technologies and infrastructure management. Immediate availability and local presence are preferred for this hybrid position.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and optimize cloud infrastructure in AWS.
- Support a large and complex program of work.
- Work collaboratively as part of a project team and independently.
Key Skills:
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer.
- Experience in FinTech or small-to-medium Financial Services organizations.
- Deep knowledge of AWS, ideally with AWS DevOps Engineer certification.
- Experience with containerization and orchestration tools such as K8s, EKS, and Docker.
- Proficiency in Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Salary (Rate): £500 per day

An Edinburgh Financial Services/FinTech organisation is currently looking for a hands-on DevOps Engineer to join their team on a Contract basis. Supporting a large/complex programme of work, the primary focus of the roles will involve managing & optimising their cloud infrastructure in AWS and to be successful, previous knowledge & experience should include:
- Previous & proven experience working as a DevOps Engineer
- Experience within other FinTech/small-to-medium Financial Services organisations
- Deep experience with cloud platforms & technologies, specifically AWS (Ideally including AWS DevOps Engineer certification)
- Containerisation and Orchestration with K8s, EKS and Docker etc
- Infrastructure as Code with Terraform, Ansible and CloudFormation
- As always, excellent people, communication & inter-personal skills with the ability to work as part of a project team and on own initiative
