Summary: My client is seeking two DevOps Engineers with significant expertise in Ansible, Infrastructure as Code, and Linux, with some knowledge of Windows. The role involves managing the Ansible platform and automating infrastructure setup. Candidates with financial or banking experience are preferred. This position requires three days a week on-site in Sheffield and is classified as inside IR35.
Key Responsibilities:
- Architecting, running, building, configuring, and optimizing Ansible platforms.
- Using Ansible playbooks and orchestration tools for deployment.
- Building automation processes to set up infrastructure on the Ansible platform.
- Managing future growth and overall use of the Ansible platform.
- Working primarily with Linux platforms and some Windows knowledge.
Key Skills:
- 5-10 years of experience with Ansible.
- Experience with Infrastructure as Code.
- Strong knowledge of Linux (80%) and some Windows (20%).
- Preferred experience in the financial or banking sector.
Salary (Rate): £550 per day

My client is looking for x2 DevOps Engineers with extensive experience in Ansible, Infrastructure as Code and Linux (ideally with some Windows).
- Ansible - 5-10 years' experience - Experienced with architecting, running, building, configuring and optimizing Ansible platforms, using Ansible playbooks, using orchestration tools for deployment, and building processes around it. This person will be managing future growth and overall use of Ansible platform
- Infrastructure as Code - Experienced with managing IT Infrastructure through code, and able to build automation processes to setup infrastructure on Ansible platform
- Linux (80%) - Windows (20%) - Experienced with Linux platforms with some Windows knowledge
- Financial/Banking experience preferred
This role is 3 days a week on-site in Sheffield and inside IR35
