Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and skilled Automation Engineer. The ideal candidate will have a passion for infrastructure automation and a strong grasp of automation concepts and patterns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain automation workflows to optimize infrastructure deployment and management.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement scalable and reliable automation solutions.
  • Leverage infrastructure-as-code (IaC) tools like Terraform to manage and provision infrastructure resources.
  • Work with tools like Ansible for configuration management and orchestration.
  • Utilize GitLab for version control, CI/CD pipelines, and collaborative development.
  • Develop scripts and tools using Python or Golang to support automation initiatives.
  • Implement containerization solutions with Podman and manage the deployment of containerized applications.
  • Use Temporal for orchestrating workflows and automating repetitive processes.
  • Manage secrets and sensitive data securely using Vault.
  • Operate and maintain network and infrastructure inventory systems such as NetBox.
  • Collaborate on provisioning and management tasks in bare-metal environments using Ironic.

Required Skills:

  • Strong understanding of infrastructure automation concepts and patterns.
  • Hands-on experience with at least some of the following tools: Terraform, Ansible, GitLab, Vault, NetBox, Podman, Ironic, Temporal, Python, or Golang.
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration technologies.
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and best practices for infrastructure deployment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex systems.
  • Ability to work in a collaborative team environment and communicate effectively.
