Summary: The role of DevOps AI Platform Architecture involves defining and documenting global AI platform architecture and MLOps architecture, as well as enabling strategic capabilities for large language models (LLM). The position requires collaboration with various teams to ensure secure and scalable model deployment and to drive incremental platform capabilities. This is a hybrid role based in London, requiring 2 to 3 days per week onsite. The contract is set to last until December 31, 2026.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and document global AI platform patterns and obtain approvals through architecture forums.
- Design Model Serving Architecture.
- Partner with the AI Tech Lead on the Model Serving PoC and define the end-to-end architecture for scalable and secure model deployment.
- Define and document MLOps architecture using learnings from the Model Serving PoC and drive approvals for standardisation.
- Assess different capabilities for LLM and take design decisions for approval.
- Work with security, Data protection office, and other architecture teams to align them with the decision and secure approvals for rollout.
- Document the low-level design for LLM rollout to different use cases.
- Drive incremental platform capabilities aligned with the approved L2 architecture.
Key Skills:
- Experience in defining and documenting AI platform architecture.
- Knowledge of MLOps architecture and practices.
- Familiarity with large language models (LLM) and related technologies.
- Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams including security and data protection.
- Strong documentation skills for architectural designs.
- Experience in driving platform capabilities related to Responsible AI and Data Governance.

Role Description:
Define Global AI Platform Architecture
- Define and document global AI platform patterns (Discovery Zone, BYOD, end-to-end ML lifecycle, and reference architectures) and obtain approvals through architecture forums.
- Design Model Serving Architecture
- Partner with the AI Tech Lead on the Model Serving PoC and define the end-to-end architecture for scalable and secure model deployment.
Define MLOps Architecture
- Define and document MLOps architecture using learnings from the Model Serving PoC and drive approvals for standardisation.
Enable LLM Strategic Capabilities
- Assess different capabilities for LLM (Azure AI foundry, Bedrock and Databricks) and take design decisions for approval
- Work with security, Data protection office, other architecture teams to align them with the decision and secure approvals for roll out
- Document the low level design for LLM roll out to different use case
Evolve Platform Capabilities
- Drive incremental platform capabilities (Responsible AI, GenAI, Data Governance, etc.) aligned with the approved L2 architecture.
