Summary: The Development Lead - ServiceNow role at the RBA is a 2-year fixed-term contract focused on overseeing the development, testing, and delivery of enhancements to the IT Service Management Platform. The position requires leadership of a team of developers, collaboration with support teams, and effective stakeholder management within an Agile framework. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in ServiceNow development and administration, along with strong leadership and communication skills. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and mentor a team of developers, ensuring productivity, quality, and adherence to best practices within an Agile framework.
- Collaborate with the Technical Solution Lead and support team to manage and resolve platform issues.
- Assist in developing and implementing new features and enhancements, ensuring timely delivery and high code quality.
- Communicate effectively with stakeholders, manage demand, and provide updates on progress, testing, risks, and issues.
- Ensure changes follow structured testing and change management processes to minimise risk.
- Stay updated with the latest trends to ensure the platform evolves with industry best practices.
Key Skills:
- A minimum of 5 years in ServiceNow development and administration, with at least 2 years in a leadership role preferred.
- Strong understanding of ServiceNow platform capabilities and modules.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in Agile methodologies and Scrum practices.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
- Essential certifications: ServiceNow Certified System Administrator and ServiceNow Certified Application Developer.
- Preferred certifications: ITIL3/4, Scrum Master.
