Summary: Stellarmann is seeking a Developer to assist their investment management client in creating data integrations between source systems and financial platforms. The role demands strong software engineering skills, particularly in data engineering tasks, and requires experience in server-side development within the investment sector. Knowledge of financial data feeds and various asset classes is essential, along with proficiency in C# and related technologies. The position offers a competitive daily rate and requires hybrid working in the London office 2 to 3 days a week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the project focused on building data integrations between source systems and financial platforms.
- Apply strong software engineering skills to data engineering tasks.
- Work on server-side development within the investment sector.
- Utilize financial knowledge related to various asset classes and data feeds.
- Implement best practices for design and development.
- Deploy applications using pipelines and CI/CD processes.
- Build automated regression testing frameworks.
- Participate in Agile processes and maintain transparency on tasks.
Key Skills:
- Experienced Developer with server-side development experience in the investment sector.
- Financial knowledge with experience in various asset classes and data feeds.
- Proficiency in C# with Core .NET 8 (minimum .NET 6).
- Understanding of SOLID design principles.
- Experience with ORM technologies like Entity Framework, LINQ, or Dapper.
- Familiarity with APIs (REST/SOAP).
- Experience with deployment using Azure DevOps and CI/CD.
- Knowledge of Docker and containerization.
- Experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD).
- Ability to work in Agile environments.
- Python and Oracle knowledge is a plus.

Skills needed
- Experienced Developer working on server-side development within the investment sector
- Financial knowledge - experience with various asset classes and data feeds, including OTC, Bonds, Fixed Income, Foreign Exchange, Swaps, Interest Rates, Currency, etc.
- Aladdin/MUREX - nice to have
- C# - Core .NET 8 (minimum .NET 6)
- SOLID - best practices for design
- ORM - Entity Framework/LINQ/Dapper
- APIs - REST/SOAP
- Deployment using pipelines - Azure DevOps, CI/CD
- Docker/Containerisation
- TDD - experience building out automated regression testing frameworks
- Agile - ability to show transparency on tasks using Agile boards and processes
- Python/Oracle - nice to have
