Position

An exciting opportunity has arisen for 2x Graduate Apprentice Developer (AI & Data Science). Fully Funded Degree: We pay your tuition; you get a salary. Hours 2x 36 hours per week. Monday: 9:30am – 5:00pm Tue–Thu: 9:00am – 5:00pm Friday: 9:00am – 4:00pm This post is offered on a fixed term basis for 48 months.

Over your 4-year programme, we will train you in:

  • Data creation and advanced statistical analysis.
  • Modern developer software and geographical packages.
  • NHS data standards and information management.
  • Building robust, intuitive digital products for senior stakeholders.

This role is designed for someone at the start of their journey. To meet the entry requirements for Glasgow Caledonian University, you should have:

  • From School: SQA Highers at BBCC (including Maths or Computing), plus Nat 5 English (C).
  • Foundation Apprenticeship: We accept these! They count as a "B" at Higher level.
  • Experienced Applicants: If you have prior work experience or an HNC/HND, we can consider you via the Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL) system.
  • A genuine curiosity about AI, data, and how things work.
  • The ability to explain your ideas clearly to non-tech colleagues.
