This opportunity is available as a 2 year Secondment or a Transferee opportunity. As a Detective Inspector within the Investigations department, you’ll be responsible for counter terrorism investigations and community engagement strategies that ensure CTPWM activity protects the public from the risks of terrorism and violent extremism whilst minimising community disruption. You’ll develop and lead high performing teams and embed a professional culture. We are seeking a highly capable candidate with a strong investigative background, an enquiring mind and sound professional knowledge. Leading the response to Counter Terrorism investigations requires innovation, tenacity, a problem solving approach and the ability to foster strong relationships. You’ll be a people focused person who puts wellbeing, inclusion and ethical leadership at the heart of what you do. You’ll effectively and efficiently manage complex investigations, managing competing demands and critically analyse vast amounts of information, identifying and managing risks and implementing appropriate control measures.
