Summary: The Desktop & VDI Engineer role focuses on providing expertise in Citrix technologies within a banking environment. The position requires a candidate with a strong background in Financial Services and proficiency in various desktop and VDI technologies. The role is a 6-month contract with a hybrid working arrangement based in London. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with Citrix, Windows 11, and Active Directory.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement Citrix solutions including XenApp and XenDesktop.
  • Manage VDI environments using Citrix MCS, Storefront, and Provisioning.
  • Perform troubleshooting for DNS/DHCP and Active Directory Group Policies.
  • Create Windows 11 images and manage Office 365 applications.
  • Utilize App-V for application packaging and deployment.

Key Skills:

  • Expertise in Citrix technologies (XenApp, XenDesktop, MCS, Storefront, Provisioning, NetScaler).
  • Experience with Windows 11 image creation and Office 365.
  • Strong knowledge of Active Directory and Group Policy management.
  • Proficient in DNS/DHCP troubleshooting.
