Summary: The Desktop Support Engineer will play a crucial role in the rollout of Modern Workplace software, providing face-to-face technical support to end users. This position is on-site in Belfast and is offered on an outside IR35 contract basis for a duration of 6 weeks. The engineer will be responsible for troubleshooting and resolving various technical issues while maintaining high customer service standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide hands-on, deskside support to users during the Modern Workplace rollout.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
  • Assist users with onboarding and navigating new tools and features.
  • Escalate complex issues to the appropriate teams when necessary.
  • Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience in desktop support roles, ideally in enterprise environments.
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Windows 10/11, Intune, Teams, and other Modern Workplace tools.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple support requests efficiently.
