Contract Desktop Support Engineer - £225/day - Manchester - Outside IR35 - 3months
The Role:
Lorien Global is working in partnership with an eCommerce giant based in the Northern Quarter of Manchester. With an ever-growing workload and a massive need for support at present, we are looking for two Desktop Support Engineers who are immediately available to support them through a busy project timeline.
Your role is to successfully support the business operations and ensure a streamlined delivery. Taking ownership of any technical faults that come through the support queue.
Day rate: 200 Outside IR35
Duration: 3months - end of 2025
Role 1 shift pattern: 10 hours Wednesday-Saturday (4 on, 3 off)
Role 2 shift pattern: 8 hours Monday-Friday
The Skill Requirements:
We're looking for candidates who have a blend of the following skills:
- Management of Windows Server (Active Directory, Exchange, etc.)
- Understanding of typical hardware faults (Printers, Laptops, Desktops etc.)
- Knowledge of ideally supporting both but one is okay (Windows OS & iOS)
- Good understanding of SCCM and Laptop builds
- Understanding of Office 365, including SharePoint and InTune
We are looking for this individual to start ASAP, as such there will be a short one-stage interview process.
