Where you’ll be working: Looking for Desktop Support Engineer It is a Belfast based contractual opportunity, Band 2 engineer. Positions -2 Resources for full 40 days (October & November) -1 Resource for December & January (Weekly once visit for 8 days) No Sponsorship provided for this role.

Job Description

Connectivity :

  • Install the IT Box in the dedicated office including patching to the required network port
  • Manage the access to this office for the users
  • Check the Connectivity with client Laptop on WIFI Standard (ITBOX)
  • Check the Connectivity with client Laptop on RJ45 (ITBOX)
  • Open Ticket incident with IT BOX Team
  • Follow the Ticket incident till the complete resolution and Act in consequence ( by local action if requested by central team for example: reboot the ITBOX)

IAM - Explain the context and guide the user for the right Authentication usage - DAY 1 and Credential distributions. (Printer need in the local to print individual Credential for the user)

Services :

  • Help and inform the users to perform the process of incident declaration and how to follow it.

Digital Work place - Day 1 and YUBIKEY distribution to the users - Yubikey reset (Yubico authenticator software needed )
