Summary: The Desktop Support Analyst role involves providing high-level IT support in a tech bar environment, focusing on VIP users and the latest technologies. The role is based onsite in London and is classified as inside IR35 for a contract duration of three months. Key Responsibilities:
- Provide IT support in a tech bar environment for users needing assistance
- Act as an escalation point for the centralised Service Desk
- Serve as a single point of contact for technology-related queries
- Conduct remote site visits for locations without dedicated resources
- Provide knowledge transfer to support the centralised Service Desk
- Gather feedback on customer satisfaction and incident resolution
- Collaborate on continuous improvement initiatives with the Service Desk
- Deliver concierge support at designated locations
- Conduct new starter inductions
- Resolve endpoint security incidents when remote tools fail
- Manage equipment inventory
- Assist with the deployment of new products and releases
- Ensure timely onboarding services for new starters
- Fulfil hardware requests for procurement and deployment
- Investigate connectivity issues when remote support is inadequate
- Provide training for core PC and Mac applications
- Help reduce legacy ticket backlog and fulfil service levels
- Adhere to asset management processes for end-user devices
- Assist with office move activities and coordination
Key Skills:
- Exceptional customer service and service delivery experience
- Experience in a tech bar environment
- Proven desktop support experience, including VIP support
- Proactive in seeking service improvement opportunities
- Strong communication skills with all business levels
- Ability to train new users and support team members
- Process-driven approach
- Proficiency in O365 and Microsoft Teams
- Experience with Service-Now or similar ITSM systems
- Knowledge of Office 365 applications
- Familiarity with Windows 11 operating systems
- Experience with PowerShell
- Mac OS support experience
- Understanding of Active Directory and Azure Active Directory
- Basic networking knowledge (TCP/IP)
- Experience with Microsoft System Center Configuration Manager (SCCM)
- Virtual and physical desktop support experience
- Familiarity with hardware and software inventory systems
- Mobile device support experience
