Summary: The Packaging Designer role involves managing the print and packaging process from brief to completion within a B2C business. The designer will collaborate with the Design Manager and Marketing team to create brand-consistent materials for both print and digital media. This temporary position has the potential to become permanent and requires a strong background in packaging design. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and proficient in Adobe Creative Cloud.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with Design Manager and Marketing team to meet the company's design needs.
  • Manage multiple design projects from concept through completion.
  • Ensure all designs are consistent with brand guidelines and meet company standards.
  • Comfortably switch between print and digital media projects.
  • Create packaging artwork and ensure it is prepared for various printing processes, including Litho and Flexo.
  • Assist in other creative tasks such as video editing and photography as needed.

Key Skills:

  • Proven experience as a artworker/designer/packaging designer.
  • Preferably have packaging experience working on consumer products – desirable.
  • Must have experience of setting print artwork for different print processes using Litho & Flexo is Essential.
  • Possess a strong packaging background – with a strong portfolio to showcase your skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
  • Excellent organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Self-motivated with a keen eye for detail and a completionist attitude.
  • Strong presentation skills and experience working in a fast-paced environment across multiple brands.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with wider teams.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and Microsoft 365 – Essential.
  • Experience in creating packaging artwork is essential.
  • Video editing and photography skills are desirable but not essential.

We are seeking a talented and experienced Designer to join a dynamic team within a successful B2C business on a temporary basis. This role requires a creative individual who is comfortable managing the entire print and packaging process from brief to completion. You will work closely with the Design Manager and Marketing team to produce a wide range of brand-consistent communication materials for both print and digital media.
