MEP Design Manager - required to work for Principal Contractor on Major High Speed Rail London Tunnels Programme.
Contract - Inside IR35 Based North West London - North Acton/Willesden Junction Hybrid Working Arrangements in place.
Role Brief: As the Design Manager within the MEPH team, you will take a leading role in the completion of the Stage 5 (Design for Construction & Manufacturing) MEPH design.
You will be the principle point of contact for design for the allocated subcontract supply chain members.
Manage the MEP scope associated with assets.
Manage MEP Design Packages working with the MEP Package Manager.
Managing Design Reviews through Approvals and Certification (Sign Off) - Design to Build.
Manage MEP Deliverables, dealing with any technical issues that arise internal and external with suppliers.
Managing MEP Suppliers.
Chair review meetings.
Getting the MEP Packages over the line and ensuring Design Compliance.
Manage MEP Design requirements and see through to completion.

Previous Experience & Skills Required
- Experience of design management for MEP.
- Experience of detailed design within an MEP setting.
- Have a knowledge of relevant policies and standards related to MEP Design.
- Experience of working within a large scale self assured design environment.
- Capable of working independently and proactively to progress works but also skilled at working collaboratively with other integrated team members and external stakeholders for the overall benefit of the project.
- Experience in the management of the implementation of the requirements of the Construction and Design Management Regs 2015 in design.
- Computer competence (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Document Control Systems, Auto CAD, Navisworks and Projectwise).
- Excellent communication skills and ability to adjust communication style to suite receiver.
