Summary: The Design Manager role is a 16-month full-time maternity cover position focused on leading the development of innovative furniture and lighting designs. Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the development of innovative and manufacturable furniture and lighting designs from concept to production handover.
• Ensure design intent is translated into functional, high-quality designs that align with company objectives.
• Meet new product development timelines and technical requirements while managing stakeholder expectations.
• Support the Creative Director in various design initiatives.
• Visit workshops as required to oversee production processes.

Key Skills:

• A minimum of 6 years’ relevant experience in product development, ideally in lighting or furniture.
• A degree in Design or a related field.
• Knowledge of UK standards and legislation relevant to the industry.
• Strong planning, prioritisation, and time management skills.
• A genuine interest in environmental innovation and sustainability in the interiors sector.
• A valid driving licence for visiting workshops.
