Summary: The role involves assembling a team of Design Engineers, specifically one Lead and one Senior, for a project in the gaming/betting sector focused on enhancing customer experience and design maturity. The Senior Engineer will take a hands-on approach, while the Lead will focus on guiding long-term improvements. This hybrid position requires travel to the customer site in Manchester three days a week and is classified as outside IR35. Immediate availability is preferred due to the urgency of the request.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and contribute to UX/UI design across responsive web and mobile-first platforms.
- Utilize Figma and/or Sketch for design tasks.
- Engage in end-to-end product design processes.
- Contribute to and uplift design systems.
- Collaborate effectively with developers.
- Engage with stakeholders to understand product needs.
- Work within Agile teams.
- Exhibit a strategic mindset, particularly in the Lead role.
- Communicate effectively and tell compelling stories about design concepts.
Key Skills:
- Strong UX/UI design skills for responsive web and mobile-first applications.
- Proficiency in Figma and/or Sketch.
