Summary: The Design Coordinator role focuses on managing engineering design information for gas and energy infrastructure projects within a hybrid working environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate multidisciplinary engineering design activities across multiple projects.
- Manage design programmes, deliverables and design changes.
- Chair design coordination meetings and track project actions.
- Liaise with clients, consultants and contractors to ensure effective communication.
- Coordinate technical queries, design reviews and document control.
- Resolve design clashes and constructability issues.
- Support procurement, project delivery and handover documentation.
- Ensure compliance with company design management procedures and industry standards.
Key Skills:
- Engineering or construction background.
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary design teams.
- Knowledge of gas industry standards, GDN specifications, IGEM standards and G17/G35 specifications.
- Understanding of BIM, Common Data Environments (CDE) and design management processes.
- Strong organisational, communication and stakeholder management skills.

We're looking for an experienced Design Coordinator to join a growing Energy team, coordinating the delivery of engineering design information across a range of gas and energy infrastructure projects. You'll work closely with clients, engineers, consultants and contractors to ensure designs are coordinated, delivered on programme and ready for construction.
