Candidate Profile: Key accountabilities, skills & experience

Purpose of the role: We are seeking an experienced Design Integration Manager to oversee and coordinate design activities across a major infrastructure programme.

This role will ensure alignment between multiple design teams, stakeholders, and delivery partners, driving consistency and successful programme outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate design activities across consultants, stakeholders, and project teams.
  • Ensure consistency of design standards, assumptions, deliverables, and programme timelines.
  • Drive progress against key project milestones and planning submission requirements.
  • Identify and manage design risks, issues, and dependencies.
  • Facilitate effective collaboration between engineering, design, and programme teams.
  • Oversee design delivery through to completion.
  • Support change management and environmental requests as required.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in Design Management, Design Coordination, or a similar role.
  • Experience on large-scale infrastructure, transportation, or engineering projects.
  • Strong stakeholder management and consultant coordination skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple teams and align delivery to programme objectives.
  • Understanding of planning, governance, and regulatory processes.
