Summary: The Lead Design Engineer role within the Wing Plant Engineering Team focuses on providing engineering support to the Broughton Plant and its supply chain, ensuring wings are delivered to final assembly lines. Key Responsibilities:
- Lead design investigations and formulate technical solutions for manufacturing non-conformances.
- Ensure compliance with design, airworthiness, and safety requirements.
- Liaise with other functions for integrated design solutions.
- Act as a focal point for technical issues and governance.
- Support technical mentoring for engineering team members.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team efficiency.
- Report on critical technical issues to functional and delivery managers.
- Develop stakeholder relationships within the engineering network.
