Summary: The Design Approver role requires a seasoned professional with significant experience in airframe structure design engineering, particularly for eVTOL aircraft. Key Responsibilities:

• Provide design and build services for prototype eVTOL aircraft.
• Deliver professional design engineering services and manage design checking capabilities.
• Coordinate with Systems Integration teams to ensure design compatibility.
• Manage execution of work packages and define budgets for projects.
• Prepare engineering data and drawings for manufacturing and customer submissions.
• Lead progress review meetings and report on work package KPIs.
• Ensure quality of deliveries and compliance with technical specifications.

Key Skills:

• Design Approver Signatory on airframe structures (metallic and/or composite).
• Excellent knowledge of aero structures, including wings, empennage, and fuselage.
• Proficiency in computerized design and analysis methods (CATIA V5).
• Experience with GD&T and aerospace composite/metallic materials.
• Strong customer focus and ability to establish credibility.
• Good understanding of stress analysis principles and industry standards.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
