Summary: The Deputy Finance Business Partner role involves providing critical financial insights and support to management boards within a not-for-profit organization. The position requires collaboration with the Finance Business Partner (FBP) to analyze data, prepare budgets, and ensure compliance with accounting standards. This interim role is expected to last approximately six months and requires immediate availability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver accurate and timely information to the FBP for management boards
- Attend management boards and stakeholder meetings as needed
- Develop in-depth knowledge of the business area and build relationships with stakeholders
- Analyze financial and non-financial data to identify trends and correlations
- Collaborate with the FBP on annual budgets and spending reviews
- Provide timely information on monthly accruals and forecasts
- Improve financial processes for efficiency and compliance
- Support team members with weekly routines and exception reports
- Recognize trends in data and engage with business areas to resolve issues
- Coordinate responses to PQ and FOIA requests for Finance
- Ensure compliance with annual reporting obligations
- Adhere to accounting standards in financial decision-making
- Stay updated on accounting developments for professional growth
- Perform ad hoc tasks as required
