Summary: The Deputy Director of Engineering at SPEERI will oversee strategic, operational, and project delivery aspects of the partnership, focusing on energy and engineering research and innovation. Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage day-to-day operational and project delivery of the SPEERI team.
  • Collaborate with the SPEERI Deputy Director (Energy) to develop joint initiatives.
  • Oversee partnership-wide SPEERI funded initiatives and programmes.
  • Design, develop, and deliver strategic investment cases and collaborative proposals.
  • Identify and develop new collaborations with academia, industry, and public sector.
  • Organise and deliver conferences, events, and workshops.
  • Manage marketing and communications efforts.
  • Coordinate early career researcher skills development initiatives.
  • Handle budget management and financial reporting.
  • Track project delivery and progress.
  • Develop databases and manage the SPEERI executive office team.
