Summary: The Deployment & Digital Adoption Training Support Contractor will join a well-known client in Edinburgh for an 8-month contract, focusing on the rollout of Microsoft 365 tools and Windows 11. This role is essential for ensuring that teams and staff are confident in using new digital platforms to enhance productivity and collaboration. The contractor will support user education and adoption of digital tools across various sites. Candidates should have experience in M365 deployment and strong communication skills to engage both technical and non-technical users.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation and adoption of Microsoft 365 digital tools and Windows 11.
  • Educate users during the rollout and ongoing use of M365 applications.
  • Assist teams, managers, and back-office staff in understanding and using new digital platforms.
  • Engage with both technical and non-technical users to meet training requirements.
  • Explain technical concepts in a simple and understandable manner.
  • Work in a fast-paced, site-based environment with potential travel to other sites.
  • Manage relationships with end-users and stakeholders effectively.

Key Skills:

  • Previous experience in M365 Deployment or Implementation Support roles.
  • Strong understanding of the Microsoft 365 landscape and applications.
  • Excellent communication skills for engaging diverse user groups.
  • Ability to explain technical concepts clearly.
  • Experience in a fast-paced, site-based environment.
  • Comfortable with desktop and mobile platforms (iOS, Android, tablets).
  • Strong people and stakeholder management skills.

Salary (Rate): £56.00/hr

Deployment & Digital Adoption Training Support Contractor

Circa 8-month duration
£400-£450 per day (working via an Umbrella Company)
A well-known Client in Edinburgh is current seeking a Deployment & Digital Adoption Training Support Contractor to join their team on an 8-month basis (until March 2026). Joining their Digital Workplace Team and Windows 11 project, the successful candidate will be required to support the rollout and effective use of digital tools/solution across our sites, teams and offices. This Contract & Role is key to ensuring that teams, managers, and back-office staff are confident & capable in using new digital platforms & solutions that enhance productivity, safety, and collaboration across the full business. Key responsibilities will include supporting the implementation/adoption of Microsoft365 digital tools & Windows 11, and also supporting & educating users during the rollout and ongoing use of M365 applications.

To be successful in this role/Contract, my Client is seeking candidates with the following knowledge & experience:
Previous experience in a similar M365 Deployment or Implementation Support role, supporting users to understand & adopt new Digital and Collaboration tools (M365)
Strong experience with the adoption of Microsoft 365 applications & understanding the full M365 landscape
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical users, whilst assisting with training requirements & what the business needs to adopt & understand new solutions
Clear ability to explain technical concepts in a simple, easily-understandable & non-technical way.
The ability to work in a fast-paced, site-based environment and potential travel to other sites & offices as needed.
Comfortable with both desktop and mobile platforms (iOS, Android, tablets).
Excellent people, End-User & Stakeholder Management skills will be ESSENTIAL as always.
