Summary: The Deployment Engineer role involves supporting a public sector organization in the deployment of Windows 11 and providing operational support for IT equipment. The position requires collaboration with staff to address IT issues, manage work requests, and assist in the procurement of IT resources. The engineer will also be responsible for software installations and upgrades, as well as maintaining and repairing IT hardware.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in the deployment of Windows 11.
- Provide support and advice to staff on IT equipment operation.
- Assist in the procurement of IT resources.
- Support day-to-day operation of IT equipment owned by the authority.
- Triage and report issues through the service desk, providing second line support.
- Carry out installation of software and upgrades.
- Liaise with service users to ascertain IT support requirements.
Key Skills:
- Effective teamwork skills for technical field services support.
- Experience in work request management.
- Experience providing support and advice on IT equipment.
- Operational support experience for IT equipment.
- Maintenance and repair experience for IT hardware.

- Clean driving licence.
